Marky,

I have no intention on "hammering" peoples opinions and if I implied it that way it was not intentional. I was only trying to make the point that even on an open forum we should take responsibility for what we say because it has much more of an impact then we may think.

Guys as hard as this may be to believe I agree and understand what both of you are getting at. The whole reason that I recently signed up as a member on this site was the fact that everyone has the right to their own opinion. With that said the only way to get valuable information is to post a querry and listen to the responses of EVERYONE, not only the people who agree with you and not only the people who disagree. Believe me I have read alot of threads in here and the people who speak an opinion that is ignorant or unfounded are pretty easily picked out. You two on the other hand obviously know what your talking about and I certainly appreciate your advice(both of you) so dont sweat the small sh## and lets get back to talkin QUADS! PEACE, LOVE and ALKY SNORTIN DIRT HILL SHREDDIN beer gut havin fun for all. Ill be here all week please tip your waitresses.

We aren't arguing... we are having a belly up to the bar type of conversation....lol

Marky and I agree for the most part; that is, it is critically important to base your opinions on a product from either first hand experience or from those who do......

I have no animosity toward anyone on this forum regardless of their opinions of me or the products I use. Isn't that the reason we are all here? to get as well informed as we can.....where else can you go and get this kind of real world product evaluation without bias?

It's all good..

Got a CDI from Alba they said specifically for the 03 ds. Got the infamous kick back! $400 to fix. The RWR on my 02 no problems at all.

Scoundrel.....I am responding to your remarks as I see you think I was saying "the sky was falling". I have had a big gun cdi and 3 procoms(procomm replaced them for me) Everything I know about them was from first hand experience. I had to make the 4hundie dollar repair because of the cdi. I spent several hours on the phone with big gun and procom. Procomm has always given me great customer service. That doesn't mean I was tweaked about the damage I had. Also, I didn't state that procomm makes those other cdi's because that's what I read somewhere. That was first hand info I heard right from the manufacturers mouth. I don't reply to posts because I think I have all the answers. I will reply to a post when I think I can help someone by having them learn by my mistakes. If you want I will Fedex you my cdi and reg/rec. You bolt them on then tell me I'm full of crap after your quad takes a dump....I'm out

Marky, the 03 is bone stock with a modded end cap and a TM45. So its whatever the stock compression is. timing has never been touched either.
