The needles seat differently in the jets. As long as you don't mix the two you will be ok. I had a dj kit in my ds for a bout a year. I went back to mikunis. The dj needle wore out to quickly. Also the dj jets arent as true as they should be for my liking.

The stock throttle slide spring is too stiff to work well with the DJ Kit.
I put a DJ Kit into my sons 2005 and only the bottom to mid was better.
Mid to top fell off.
Put in a lighter spring and now it is great.
The DJ needle is richer in mid and needs more air. Slide needs to open alittle faster.
Even though the 05 spring is the best factory spring todate, it is still too stiff for the DJ Kit.
