What kind of riding do you do? For general riding I would say HMF pipe, K&N filter, jetting, & ported intake. Suspension is pretty good stock. I upgraded to Elka's and love the difference they made for me. It all depends on your budget. If you are a drag racer try the Ron Woods pipe. Supposed to have the best power, but also has clearence issues for jumping from what I hear.

I think JMAC650 hit it on the head. A lot depends on where you ride, where you want the power and how much you want to spend. If you can help us with those factors, many people on this forum can narrow the choices down for you.

Keep in mind, there is no single best component for every situation or rider. it is all about you and how you use your machine that you bought. (how many more times can I use the word you in a sentence?) Anyhow, tell everyone where you ride, what type of terrain, what you want to ride in the future, as well as other future plans like are you hoping to spend lots of money on your engine later going big? everything you like now, and everything you plan to do in the future is part of deciding factor as to what you should run.

hey guys, i really appreciate you replying. i will be doing trail riding and gravel and dirt roads. i want sumthing for bottom end, because right now it feels like if you throttle down in first it aint got the real good power, but like in the uper gears i love the power. i want a that like if i come to a log in the trail or a little hump or even a creak branch that i can be in first and snap the throttle and jerk the front tires up like it aint nuthin. i have heard the ds650 stock exhaust is power robbing and if i put a pipe on it i will feel more low end and thats what im lookin for is bottom end torque. thanks again boyz! Then go with what was said above. HMF or end cap, jetting, K&N, ported intake, and possibly a 15tooth front sprocket. That will make a big difference in low end without sacrificing top end much. With the end cap you get no sparky, but with the HMF you have the option of sparky and quiet core if needed. If you are running stock tires you might consider ITP Holeshots or Maxxis razors. The are very good dirt and trail tires. With the 15tooth front spocket go with 22" rears and 23" fronts. It will give you a little more ground clearance.

well on a sport quad i hate ground clearence so that aint no big deal. if you look at all our other bikes they have lowering kits due to this thats why i like to pop the front end up to get over logs and stuff. i like the alba due to it comes with k&n filter, jetting, outerwear and pipe for $300
