It seems the only new addition to the DS is the LOSS of the standard model, it seems it is only offered as the DS650 X

 

Black X is the only DS listed. Traxter is gone too.

Ok, I dont know this, but maybe, just maybe bomb is running out the remaining ds's. No color change makes no other sense besides the need to remove the rest of the line, or overflow from the previous year. So thats my story and i'm sticking to it................for now, lol. OOOOORRRR, they just havent updated the sport quad section yet, and they have a ds-lt-yfz-r-9000 coming out and just havent unvieled it yet. Who knows?

 

And that is when again?????????????????? How come knowbody at Cycle Sports knows anything about this 450. I also talked to another dealer in my area and he know's nothing either. Just about the new Outlander. BTW.... I may sell my Sportsman and get one of those after a few months of testing and reviews.

 

I was trying to pound some information out of one of the regional sales directors yesterday when we tested out the new 800EFI. He would not tell me if it was 4 stroke or 2 stroke. and would only tell me it was in the "400s". He also wouldn't tell me if it was belt or chain drive, but one of the district reps said he heard it has a six speed transmission. The regional director said that the original idea was to hire a big name racer to take it to the track and race it before you could buy it. Just like they did with the REV chassis. Negotiations fell through however and I have no clue where they stand on this right now. September will be the release of the new sport quad and the mid size outlander that no one seems to know much about yet. I guess it's suppose to fill the gap between the 400 and 800...possibly a 660. Ordering for these 2 new models will be in november and delivery is expected in january or february. This is all straight out of our district reps and regional directors mouths. Not much information, but some.

 

And i don't know if anyone has replied to this part. But Midnite said that from the moment a bombardier ceo says lets build something new. It takes ATLEAST 3 years and 6 months of development before a p3 prototype is produced (P3 being the last prototype before mass production)

 

Someone needs to point this thread to Bombardier. We have people eager to spend money on a new model.
