Check this grab bar out...This is mounted on my V-Force. You can flip through the pages and see different pictures of it. The DS bumper is very similar.

Almost cheaper to buy a new quad than it is to change to flex bars, isn't it. I also wonder how they would hold up in a crash. If the took a blow in the direction they were designed to flex they would be fine, but what if the impact is 90 degrees from the direction they are designed to flex in? Are they just as strong as a good set of Renthals if they take that kind of impact? It is bad enough to spend that much on handlebars once, but to have to spend it each time you flip the quad would get kind of pricey. I didn't have to worry about flipping the quad until I started racing, LOL. Might be cheaper just to slow down.

DesertViper, they hold up way better than any other bars, I rolled my YFZ with flexx bars, it rolled 4-5 times and didnt bend the bars, bent my stem, so I just installed houser +2 stem. They are def worth the cash, well I got mine for about half the price. We dont have flexx bars on the DS, it already rides smooth.

The Flexx bars aren't "quad specific". There are a couple of different bends/widths but they fit in any 1 1/8" clamp. I rolled my Raptor in a MX race and it landed on top of me. The Flexx bars weren't even scratched. Even if you do bend a part of them, they are modular and you can replace any single part instead of buying a whole new set.

Default Bad arm pump...Anti-vibe steering stem worth it?

I have seen the light, and decided to order a set of those Fasst Flex handlebars, along with the riser/adapter thingy that Parts Unlimited has. It was just too much of a pain trying to find an aftermarket steering stem for a DS that had the anti-vibe mounts on it.

I see that the handlebars come in a 12 degree rise, and a 14 degree rise version, and that the 14 degree rise version is similar to a CR high bend. The riser/adapter comes in a 4mm, 20 mm, and 40 mm rise. I suppose I will have to wait for the bars to show up first, and just see what size riser to get after that, but I will have to wait another week to try them out. If someone that has used the CR high bend bars on a DS can tell me how high they are compared to stock I may be able to get the riser coming my way a bit quicker. Any input on this?

Thanks,
DV
