Default Keeping it

Just ordered a rear sub frame and a steering stem w/bearing. $547
It would be wrong to tear this quad apart.
I definitly need a steering dampner. I emailed Scott and they do not support the DS. I emailed GPR twice with no reply at all. So, I see on Ebay, a Denton for about $250. I guess that's the best thing going.

Thanks to all that encouraged me to fix it. The year end scores for our club here in Florida were posted. I placed 8th out of 28. I missed the last two races after crashing. I figure I will ride this machine one more season. It is one tough mother.
I was in 5th before the crash. I know I can do better. By then the smaller Bomb should be out. I will gladly buy and compete with it. Hopefully Bombardier will support riders with a contingency program.

I hope you didn't already trade cash for your shocks... (I recall you said you had them sold, but I imagine you meant you had a solid buyer.) Glad to hear you are keeping the machine.

Yeah, I figure I have about $9,000 +/- in it already, so what's a few more hundred?? Except it will never end. I vow to put more money into this pit!
I did have the shocks sold. I race with the guy (he's in a different class) he also encouraged me to just fix it. He was bummed about the shocks but he owns his own business so he'll buy new. The rear shock is on the way so I'll have Elka's all the way around for $1,300. Nice!
