a 60hp stage 3 would be dead on. Many a RW stage 3 have made that number, in fact, that's what his advertisement graph showed for a stage 3. Is your graph up somewhere, we can take a look at it.
Do keep in mind, that 6hp loss is an average on a stockish bike- it varies from run to run (very inconsistent on knobbies) and it depends alot on the amount of torque the bike is actually making as to how much loss there will be ( the more torque and the faster the accel rate of the engine, the more slippage). So, don't write that 6hp number in the front of your Bible.

so the bigger the motor " more hp" the more slip with the knobbies?? usually right? 222 do you use a brake on your dyno? when getting the final numbers??
p.s. so basically the dyno #'s that we have are not worth looking at other than tuning the carb...???.. thanks randall!

If I was an engine builder like Kenscycle, craycraft, woods or HPR, I'd find me the "friendliest" dyno I could to show some awesome numbers for my kit. Then I'd find a lot of reasons why those numbers couldn't be duplicated on MOST other dynos so that nobody would be disappointed. They'd still have the big numbers but you'd have to get them a very specfic way.

Actually torque slips the knobbies not horsepower. When the tires are slipping you can not get accurate O2 readings for carb tuning either.
