Other then a turbo or NOS, what other performance modifications can be done on the DS650 motor, same as the BMW F650 Dakar motor.
It runs EFI (BMW) of course.

I would love more torque down low, as top end is fine.

You're a bit vague......You need to tell everyone what engine modifications you've already done so we can be specific in our recommendations.

 

its completely stock, no modifications at all.

you need a air filter an end cap and most important for the bottom end torque you need a pumper carb, I use the odp end cap because it is spark arreassed, and a k&n filter and i have the stock pumper carb off a trx450r (because is is a very cheap carb compared to the others)

Its all about how big or how much you want to spend.
Big bore?
Stroker?
High Compression piston?
Cams?
Race ported head with big valves?


You are already fuel injected, do you have adjustability on the fuel maps? If you start doing any mods you will need to be able to adjust the EFI.

You are across the pond right? If so you should check out Team Pami. They are in Germany I believe. They originated the mods for the BMW f-650 and then applied them to our DS650.
