i had to decide the same thing when my 760 went down, turbo or big bore? after talking to hp research and going over the type of riding i do (mostly recreational not just racing) they talked me into the 730 based alot on the ride-ability and long life. i also liked the simple world of a carb and nothing else to deal with like efi,turbo ,extra stuff to come loose or get wet and go bad? i like the 730 i know they have 800+cc big bores but i wanted a pump gas motor the made around 70hp and didn't want to wait til x-mas for it (big back log on the 800cc motors) so thats my story and i'm sticking to it[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif[/img]

I would love to have a turbo, but for the same reason I would like to have one is same reason I don't have one. I like the turbo because you say "i have a turbo" but I don't want mine to look fast.
Plus something I found out back when I was in streetbikes, my bike made 180+rwhp on motor, and on the gas it added almost 100rwhp. Even with mine making 270ish RWHP I wouldnt hesitate running a turbo bike making 300-325hp due to the fact motor and juice was right there right now.
I would think different for 1/2mile, but 1/8 or 1/4 the extra hp just didnt have time to show its head.

PS. I also want to put in a plug for HPR. Mine has many many hours of trail riding in some of the roughest in the east part of the US, with ZERO problems.
