I put the dual rate Elka on the rear today. There is space between shock and shock mount tabs. The bottom of the shock can slide to the left and right. Is that normal or should that be fitted with a couple of washers?

 

You'll want to shim it with washers so the shock doesn't slide right and left.

 

I thought that was a stupid question. Did anyone else have to use a spacer or two?
