I have a 2003 DS650 I was wondering if there was any free mods that you can do to it? Like ive seen forums and sites where they disconnect plugs for certain limiters on dirtbikes and make them go faster. I was wondering if anyone knew anything that can be done like that. Thanks

 

you can take ur stock endcap off ur pipe and cut everything on the back side off and rejet up to a 170..get a good sound and some noticable power increase.

 

I already put a HMF pipe on and i like that alot noticed a difference. I remember when i first got the DS i took the end cap off and all the packing inside and boy was it loud... Im just wondering if theres any mods that i can do without buying anything. Thanks

 

Drop weight, cut fenders, remove heelgaurds etc..

ok lets see if i can remeber some.

Zip tie your air tubes the the side of the frame so they suck clean are. (bad in dust)
buy a filter also.

Put zip ties just snug around ur air boot from the air box to carb.

you can cut 4 coils off your carb spring for better throttle response
