Default friends ds650 in my garage

All i have to say is " scary fast " about the ds . My friend let me take his 04 for a few days and i have never had so much fun . It is so comfortable to ride . I figured it would be a handfull considering i have a woverine but it was actually easy to handle . He wants to sell it to me but i cant convince my wife that i need the ds for fun and the wolverine for work . The only bad thing i have to say about it is that my thumb on my left hand is bloody from hitting on the kill switch/ light switch when i hit bumps and jumps . Unbelievable machine that never wants to let up .

Do us a favor and crossbreed that thing with your Wolverine while its there. I'll buy one of the offspring .

Different grips might help keep your hands in the right spot - though even on stock grips I don't know that I've ever hit the kill switch assembly. If I have, I don't recall it. For grips I use those big foam grips since my hands are XXL and 'normal' grips hurt!

Good luck with the wife, just tell him to leave it at your house and make payments. Keep telling the wife it is on loan, then suddenly it is yours after she is used to it being there and no problem.

Sounds like your riding with your thumb extended out on the switch housing. That might be a bit dangerous especially when operating the clutch. Your right about it being an unbelievable machine that never lets up. You gotta hang on to it
