Default BIG Disappointment - Drove the Outlander 800

Right now, everyone is getting pooched for at least that. It's called "supply and demand". If your selling anything ahead of it's arrival time, there is going to be NO negotiations on price. Can we all spell MSRP!!
But it may be time to get a great deal on a 2005 model!

Look on the HL forums, an OUTY 800 owner already has a belt slipping and his front wheel fell off. Sounds like Bionic-like problems. LOL

Someone posted it on this forum too, it's titled "Bombardier buyer beware" I don't know if it's all facts but anyone considering an Outty 800 better take a look at it, it sounds like it has serious saftey issues.

If there is one thing I've learned while trying to make a decision on what ATV to buy..........

I can be assured that whatever recommendation someone has, they either own one, or sell them. These are machines and they do break. I am convinced the "Bomb" warranty is the best on the market and shows the confidence they have in the equipment.

Looked at the Outy 800 yesterday. WOW, what a machine. They offered me a test drive but I had to get going, was short on time. I'm going to go back. I would slap the money on one in a minute but I think it's too much power for what I need. I guess the 800 Max will be in late August, that's what I really want.......

what I really really want!........

I agree. Standard 3 year warranty. BRPs are one of the best. If a recall is in order, it will be dealt with quickly.

My $9000.00 Polaris has a six month warr. On paper. they don't even stand behind that. 500 miles 20 problems. Wish it were only a belt slip.

I agree, Polaris is just too much risk in terms of reliability. And in all honesty my Kawasiaki has been even worse. Two brands I'll never buy again.
