Alcohol EFI Fuel Pump
Scooby, good to see you still alive! haven't seen you post around here in a while
I had a pump fail on my efi but I am not running alcohol. Kelly at KMS took care of it right away. He said things that cause fuel pumps to go bad are heat, running dry on fuel (cavitation and more heat), and alcohol. He has not found one pump that will put up to the corrosiveness of alcohol. Only thing the prolongs the life is flushing the system with fuel.

I never had an issues with my fuel pump and I never flushed the system either, it was still running strong after 18 months of use. It was the first generation of fuel pumps that Kelly used, I believe it came off of the LS1 motor, I didn't have it mounted to the frame it was just suspented by the fuel lines in the air.
