looking to buy 400 outlander
#1
Thinking about getting a 400 outlander trying to decide between that and a 400 yamaha anybody on here got one and how do you like it , It is a kool looking quad though . but how does it hold up

I don't think you can go wrong. I think it will hold up just as well as the Yamaha. If you are deciding between the Kodiak 400 or Outlander i'd definately go with the Outlander. Not sure if the new Kodiak 400's have IRS but they didn't last year, the Outlander does, it also has the Visco-lock 4wd. The Rotax 400 HO engine will is probably more powerful then the Yamaha.

I've ridden a kodiak 400 and 450 and I have to say they don't even come close to the outlander. My uncle has a 450 and even he admits that my bike is head and shoulders better than his. I'm not trashing the kodiak because it is a very good bike however the outlander I feel is that good. I have an epi clutch kit, 26 mud lite xl tires, and big gun exhuast and I can go most places that my buddies grizzleys go. I have over 900 miles on my outlander so far and have to say I am totally impressed.
