Default Lightening up my DS

Well Im about as far as Im willing to go this year on motor mods. Now it time to shave some weight. Im looking for a list of light weight parts and ideas to get it lighter. Yea, yea I know one less meal a day. (its workin). I have a friend who can weld aluminum, he's looking at my sub frame. How well do the blue lable douglas wheels hold up. Any ideas guys?

I have a friend that runs them on his Raptor without any problems. I think allot would have to do with how and where you ride.

I like to jump a bit, nothing to extreme though. Some guys say that they have no problems others say they will bend easy. I will probably get a set just for dragin. and use my black lables for everything else. Im wondering who has the lightest bike on here and what all they have done.

Well, it all depends on how serious that you are willing to get with all of these "lightweight" parts.....you will definitely have to make up your mind if you want a drag bike or if you want a wannabe drag bike. Lightweight mostly always means weak unless you want to shell out some serious duckies on the titanium....

I've only taken about thirty pounds off of my DS, but maybe a few of the things I've done can help you out. What have you done so far to lighten your DS? If we know what you've done so far we can make suggestions better.

So far just building more HP. No2 on the way should be here end of next week. Probably going to start with rotating mass and go from there. Lighter wheels, machine the hubs, axle maybe, What did you do?
