I really love the new DS. The only thing that I find kind of discouraging about the DS is its weight. I was wondering if anyone out there has any ideas on areas that this machine could shed a few pounds.

 

An aftermarket frame seems the only solution to me. A lighter frame could reduce the weight enough to make a difference and hopefully improve the handling too. It would be nice if the aftermarket frame would allow dual carbs to be installed. Also, a lower center of gravity/mass would improve handling. The motor is no lightweight either, but thats not going to change.
