My family and I are planning to be there. I was hoping to get some of my local friends to go with but not looking good. Anyone got room in their camp for one more trailer. I have a couple of kids 12 and 10, both experienced riders.

 

We were just talking about the trip.

Should be about 5 trailers in the group. No idea where we will be but you're welcome to come by.

Our group is Family's. Kids will be there. Mostly a duning group but, we'll spend some time at the hill too.

I am planning to arrive Wednesday from Reno. It will be our first trip to Dumont and I have few questions. Where should we set up camp? Can I fill up water, gas and where do you recommend? Can you have a campfire? Do they check sound and sparkys? Is theft an issue there?

 

No water at Dumont-In the Daytime you can fill up w/ water in Tecopa hot springs about 30 mins from Dumont at the small trailer park in front of the public hot springs, Or you can fill up in Pahrump. Once at Dumont there will be PLENTY of parking, You can build huge Fires and run Very loud pipes. I just dont rev it up near the rangers unless im at the hill (or have a good lead on em) J/Klol

Thanx for the info. I am sooo looking forward to this trip as we got snowed out the last 2 times we tried to come down there. I hope to meet you and others from the forum and tip a few back.

 

Thats cool Cammer, As it gets closer I will let you know where we will be camped. Then everybody can set a time to meet up at the hill. Im sure Duneme and all of us will get together for some after hours drinks.. I am waiting for a bunch of parts so I dont know my schedule yet. Youll love Dumont It has all kinds of riding, On a big weekend there is usually subway and Hog heaven reaturant style (lol) if ya want to get out for a bite to eat. Its Melow and the hills are great!!

we are going to camp over at little dumont, so we can get a little quiet time, halloween it was non stop till about 5:00 am, Cammer about 35 miles south of beatty NV there will be a turn off for Parumph, take it and it is another 27 miles into parumph, like Mario said you can get everything you need there, in the center of town, take highway 372 west about another 35 miles or so and your there. but if your coming into vegas then different directions are required.

Ken, we'll be at the little dunes as well. We'll talk next week for sure. Same kind of people that went out to Coral. Going Friday Morning and staying until Sunday morning. We'll be at least two toybox's strong. We'll talk later.
