Dumont - Thanksgiving - Winter DS Day's???
#1
Looks like things are shaping up for a few of my group to make Dumont for Thanksgiving again this year. We hit it a couple years back and had a great time.
Plan on deep-frying turkey again.
I'm sure Annihilater will be there. Anyone else?

I know for sure there won't be any snow at Dumont this year! (I know that isn't wnat you were talking about Sean.) Dumont for T-Day, sounds like fun.

I'll be there for sure (Dumont). I usually camp in the small dunes for the kids and make several treks to the hill. I haven't talked to Mario in detail, but I'm sure he'll be there as well.
Hope to have some new mods by then....
I'll be the big guy at the hill on the little DS

learnem,
You've got to give up ths Pismo thing! If you ever want to have some REAL FUN at the dunes you gotta get to the REAL DUNES! Pismo is what it is, but I wouldn't make it a habit. It is like always going to Denny's for a 99 cent cup o' sludge vs. going to some really fancy coffee house - sure they both serve coffee, but that 99 cent cup o' sludge just doesn't taste as good as the fancy stuff!
Pismo should only be sought during the summer months when the 'good' riding areas like Dumont and Glamis are too toasty warm to visit. (You know, when it is 120-130 in the shade.)
So far you missed a bachelor party that is surely to never be forgotten for oh so many reasons, and now you're gonna miss T-Day at Dumont - and who knows what else in the future.....
If the president was at Glamis to go ATV riding, I'd bet you would make reservations at Pismo and miss riding with him riding a DS650 in the dunes. Then I bet we would come to find out you only rode your DS for 20 minutes because the tide came in or onstar couldn't verify who you were, AAA was having technical difficulties, the rangers were all on break, and the only people around didn't speak english to help you get your keys out of the car, or get your truck unstuck as you were pulling in.
(I'm just kiddin' with ya man, but really, stop with all of the Pismo reservations, we'll have to find some other nickname for you, the salty dog or something like that.)
