I dont know 2big, but have talked to him on the phone and that wasnt him, no way. The guy had an inframe drag pipe like mine. He was fast for a big guy, but I would have thrown sand on him. I sat around that hill all saturday night hoping to run him, but no show. Honestly I was hoping he would let me ride it, just to see if it was all that. Just think Randall, instead of all us on hear talking about an ***, we would be talking about this hpr bike that Viper rode that was kicking ***.

As for the racing, I got beat once all weekend. By a yfz450 motorcycle that just crept on by me. He was running u4 and I would bet money a sleeper nos setup. There were no quads that ran with mine. All the turbo bikes were faster on the hill than mine, but could not make up the difference that I made at the starts. I think with a little tuning, and a pipe Scatter would mop me up. But now we all have to wait till next year, and hopfully its in my backyard!

Damn that guy pissed me off! I run HPR stuff and like it, but will be damned to be associated with an *** like that. Eric, Randall, you abviously know who this is. Maybe he just didnt like me talking to him, who knows. But this sure isnt helping you guys out. I hope that isnt 2big, cuz 2big, if that was you, WTF!!

Next year maybe the talkers will show, then we'll see. But for all those that think there coming to my backyard and taking the crown, you better pack a lunch, cuz this boys getting serious next year j/k I'll still be a stock bore and stroke, but hopefully have some head porting, and ALOT of weight lost! I didnt even come close to the numbers Jeff runs, so I know I'll have my work cut out for me. Damn this obsession. Well I guess I'll go work and snowmobiles, we should have snow in a few months, LOL!! Later guys, Jed

So Jed didn't get beat by a quad all weekend! That's what I wanted to hear! Very Impressive amongst the turbos and the fast guys on this forum. Sounds like there is a new KING ! Oh yeah! If you could see the smile on my face ))).
That title will stand, but it'll be another year before anyone gets the shot.

In frame drag pipe? This guy doesn't sound like he's a good representative. Now, I really want to know who he is. I sure hope it was a lack of attention or something - not just snobby. That is a real shame. I'll keep trying to make phone calls to see if this is who I think it is.
Hey, if a guy refuses to race, that's throwing in the towell, race over.

ps. anybody ever notice what time it is on the clock on the back of a $100 dollar bill?

Well I hope it was some lame excuse as well. Cuz it was like I was talking to a kid on a 450! If you do find out ask wtf! No reason to be like that you know? Cant we all just get along?

I figured you guys would like that. There was a 720 there that said hpr sold him his piston, but a cali shop did the work. He was running lte's, a carb(which I dont remember), porting, this and that, and he would pull me all motor by about two lengths. It ran good.

Why would he have to be evil to run HPR stuff? What are you saying...

I know who that is. West Coast ATV did the engine build.
Jed built his own and several other engines, too. You guys in the Utah area who need an engine assembler....his stuff runs great and it stays together....that is if he has the time and desire? And I hear he only charges $79 per hour ...

Now see, I like a guy who can say "I raced someone without the NOS and got beat" - It takes character to turn the NOS off and give a guy an equal chance, AND not bump the button a little when he gets behind.

About this guy who was fast, if he was all that, he better be glad SANDBOMBER wasn't there. In fact, everybody who races anywhere on any weekend better hope Sandbomber isn't there!

This isn't to take anything away from Jed and Scatterbrain, this isn't even about them, they are #1 and 2 until proven otherwise on that hill, the rest of us can just talk about what we might could have done if we were there, so this is for the "rest of us" that weren't there .....

To put this in perspective, the 800 motors that were at 4sw were the first 2 built, with single carb, gas, no power adders, in trail trim carrying alot of weight, swingarms too short, not enough tire, launching from an idle and still having to let off several times to get the front end under control. If someone beat them, and it was rare all weekend, it took a NOS and /or turbo bike and a bad run on the 800.
Now, since then, we have raced that same 4sw 800 setup on 300 ft tracks, and 4.9 is as good as it gets. Someone is going to say: wasn't the 715 turning 4.70 at the SE Nationals? Yes, but it was lighter, better setup, wheelie bar, and that was the fastest track I've ever raced on. None of our bikes with the same setup have been able to repeat those times on any other track. The Sandbomber bike is turning 4.3's and 4.4's on horrible tracks with subpar setup so far. If it's 6 bikes faster in 300ft than the 4sw 800's were, you can begin to understand why no other production 4 stroke has got within 15 bike lengths of it in 300 ft and how much more it is up a 1000 ft hill race.

Oh, and it has to be important to have a fast bike that can actually make it through an entire raceday without breaking, right? Bonzai passes on a setup that can't live don't take the checkered at the end of the day.
