Actualy the differance is in the rotataing mass but its bearing related in 05 we actualy used the same bearing's in my 01 and on meth and nitro blend and picked up a sig. increase in hp due to less friction. But i should have stayed away from this if you boy's like pumping each other as a hobbie who am i to interfere. feel free boy's ive got bikes to prepare

i agree with dsengineer, what are the MAJOR differences between the x's. in my past experiences i cant really think of anything that different?????????????

Well, there is a rubber boot over the oil sending sensor that even though my dealer sees it with his own eyes he is unable to find a part number and nobody at BRP seems to know about this but it is there <rolling my eyes>.

Come on guys ive been gone for about 3 months and this is what i get. I need to know what little goody to put on to push me over the 100 hp line. From what scatter and a few others posted about upgrades i think im getting pretty close. The 700 beat my 05x by 2 to 2and a half lengths. but this was with a 100 lb heavier rider and the ds weighing a 100 more. As soon as we swithed bikes so that both weigh in at 700 it was what i call a good even race 3 races 2 to the 700 1 to the ds all 3 races were within a half bike length. Next time i race the 700 im gonna sick the big bore on it.
