And this time i call bull i have taken out several new 700r,s and yfz's just to test and see where the baja'x's stand so i know where to improve my bikes and i have lots of dealer friends so i run apples for apples.And comparing a 04 to a 06 is no fair the 05 and 06 baja are way better i was stunned with the new bikes over the old bikes.As A MATTER OF FACT I GOING TO TRY AND DO WHAT NEEDS TO BE DONE WITH ALL STOCK BORES.[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-cool.gif[/img]

i agree with dsengineer, what are the MAJOR differences between the x's. in my past experiences i cant really think of anything that different?????????????

 

I think AZ may have meant 03 and prior compared to 04 and later. 04 was the big year for changes.

 

But then again this whole comparison/argument was with an 04 Baja X, so I'm not really sure where AZ is coming from.

Boy them different stickers sure do make a difference in performance between an 04 , 05 , and the 06 DS.

lol, AZ's got to be talking about 04 and up. Didnt they lighten up the rotating mass compared to the older models?
