Default Seat fixes?

What fixes are out there for the seat?
The seat does not fit as tight on right side (as you sit on quad) as it does on the left.
Also, if you lift on the bottom edges the right side has movement, where the left side does not.

Seems like the tab fits tighter on left than on right...........any suggestions to fix?
Thanks,

I haven't the answer for the seat, but some of the items you are looking for are currently on eBay. There is a real nice carbon fiber facia that has a $300 reserve, also currently a DS cover and there are always billet and AC products on there. Rarely do scoops show up. If I had a machine shop... Boy would you guys (and me) be hooked up.

Just a helpful hint, when searching for our parts on eBay be sure to use DS650, DS 650 and just plain Bombardier 650. Be surprised at how some are listed.
Good Luck

My seat has exactly the same problem and it's new, What do we do? I have been thinking about trying to get a new one under warranty. I have been told they are made of fiberglass, I was thinking about heating it up with a heat gun and tring to squeeze it ,warping it such that it will fit tight like it used to.

You can bend the hook part of the front tabs out to make it tighter. Make sure you havnt bent one in. It doesnt take much for them to come loose. Hope this helps.

I made a plate for the front tabs so they have more surfaces to sit on

You can also order a carbon fiber gas tank cover for about $210.00 from Richards Recreation.

I've never had a seat problem, mine's an '01, did they change it in any way for the new models? cause my seat has a metal "button" on each side, and these "buttons" just slide into a steel "slot" on each side of the frame.

there is no foberglass in the seat, the seat pan is plastic, easily cut with a knife. if you have seat warpage, I think the heatgun would work perfectly fine on it.
