Default a arm advise

looking for some a arms.i have a couple of stock ball joints going bad and did not make sense to spend $200 on 2 ball joints, thought about just geting all new arms.i tried a set of armadillos but they hit the shocks, even after some grinding [aftermarket shocks] they work fine with stock shocks.i heard that there is an issue with american star adjustable uppers also hitting the shocks.has anyone tried epic arms and where is a good place to get them.any other thoughts or comments would be great.thanks

Mine don't hit at all. I have the works with Rez. You just have to figure out which arm goes on which side and upside down or not. That that hard alittle trial and error. For $159 bucks they are great and that handle way better.

ASR's DO NOT hit the shocks if installed correctly.

A few people decided to screw the a-arm pivot heims too far in, bringing the arm too close to the shock, and they hit their shocks and caused dents, and then the rumors began. but all you gotta do is screw the heims out just far enough for clearance and no hitting occurs. you just have the bike jacked up off the floor, and with the shcok fully extended you check it, if the a-arm is close to touching the shock, you screw out the heims. Its that simple.

ASR Picture installed

I will say the heims are not the highest quality, but when they wear out they are cheap. mine are a year and a half old, getting a bit sloppy, about due for replacement.
