yeah Bruce is a rag, pretty stuck up guy, but awesome none the less, besides everybody rags on Ozzy cause he's looney tunes, and Maiden had their own world tour going on this year and happened to be in the states for it while Ozzfest was going on, so they picked up a few shows with it but never intended on playing all the Ozzfests anywho. but hey I love Ozzy too and seen him with and without Sabbath half a dozen times over the years.

Great!
I was a big Maiden fan years ago.
One of the best shows I ever saw was when they opened for Judas Priest.
I'm a big Godsmack fan now!

Nice. Now you need to do one with Ronnie James Dio on the DS90!!!
I'm going to chime in on this Ozzy/Bruce debate since I was at the show and witnessed first hand the BS that Sharon Osbourne pulled. To set the tone I'll let you know that I graduated in 1979 and grew up on Classic Rock and Metal. Sabbath, Ozzy, Maiden, Priest, Queensryche, Rush, Triumph, Deep Purple, Rainbow, Nugent, you name it I've seen them all numerous times each.
Now for the facts of the Devore Debacle, as was the case the year before when Judas Priest played Ozzfest, around 65-75% of the crowd had on Maiden shirts, Priest last year. During Maiden's set Sharon had one of her flunkies at the sound stage pull the plug atleast five times to where Maiden were rocking their asses off but no sound. Then she had some people from her camp go down front and launch three dozen eggs at Maiden. Ever tried to play drums with eggs all over them? Every time the 50,000 in attendance were chanting Maiden she would have the sound crew play this very obnoxious guy chanting Ozzy, Ozzy. Very rude and unprofessional on her part.
Anyway, I could go on and on with the details, but I'll just leave you with this, the vast majority of the crowd were ther to see Maiden and Sharon Osbourne ripped us off. Maiden are nothing short of one of the classiest acts on the road and will ensure that their fans get their hard earned moneys worth each and every show. They had played every show on the tour up to this date and this was their last due to the fact that they had to go headline all of the big European Fest, as they do every summer. Maiden is by far the biggest live Metal act for many years running now. Just look at Rio, 350,000 fans at one show.
I just wish she had the integrity to offer a refund to the tens of thousands that she stole from that night.
Nuff said, lets ride.

I've seen all these bands and numerous others. I wouldn't rank Ozzy or Maiden near the top.
Queensryche might be the best metal band I've ever seen live, I also had the opportunity to meet the band at a record release party for Promised Land up in Seattle at Bad Animals studio, very classy and down to earth. I saw Maiden once and walked out about halfway through the show.
AC/DC might be the most fun band.
Van Halen WAS once upon a time a fun band to watch.
