I havent pulled stator off yet to inspect.. I have not been able to find a puller..
I was runinng a Big Gun CDI
Thanks Mrneg9 that is what I was looking for
Also when I pull the Stator off, is there only one way that it goes on. I just want to make sure I dont screw anything up..

If I remember correctly the stator only goes one way. If you can turn a wrench and are some what comfortable doing mods to your bike you should have no problems replacing the sprag clutch on your Quad. Most likely the Big gun CDI caused your problem. Did you notice at times your quad not starting up the first time trying amd backfiring or popping under the seat in the air box ?
I got all my parts from A@S but I did get my puller from Ron Woods Racing. They had them in stock. I think it was around $34.00. I ended up getting a Ron woods CDI box used off an ATV Connection Member for $150.00. It works great. No problems. Ron woods wants over $330 for a new one so I would keep your eye out for one used. Put a post up needing one in the (whats in your garage post.) Some guys even run thew Vortex as they can be programed.
If you have any questions with the fix feel free to call me between 6 and 9pm in the evening 856 275 4614. Its easier to talk over the phone than do all this typing. Later, D
