I had an Incredible opportunity to pilot my buddy "HARD1"'s friends HPR800 DS in Glamis this past Halloween weekend, along with a TVI720. After seeing Jeff wax an all green alcohol fed YFZ on his bike, and being around that much horsepower Id NEVER post comments like this guy "boat" is. LOL Brave man

 

For starters you only think its lighter and I said it put out 65 on u4 I never said how much it puts out on the bottle with mrxo1 So you do the math and maybe you can come up with the missing #'s and just how light can a yfz get ? lets se who gets the right # So maybe I do have room to talk
PS I only weight 118 dripping wet ! Look for the big guy on the yfz was a joke

 

I will go for the DS but on a hill the shee will beat my yfz But I guess my buddy could bring his turbo Bussa (650hp check the net Im shure you can find it) that went up the face at 112mph when it broke the Ti chain in 3rd gear Im shure that will eat your shee because it beat packards shee by 15mph

 

there is always that guy that has the little man syndrome that thinks he has to find the big guy knowing what will happen when he does--but still just keeps on <u>talking</u> lol

 

People can gang up on you in these forumns pretty quickly. I remember when the 450R 1st came out, I made a simple post stating that I was disappointed by it and it turned into an 8-page long thread with new 450R owners yapping at me. I guess people just get defensive on the internet![img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img]

 

I think it (650HP) was 15mph faster on the radar gun but was not the quickest and or first to the top of the hill.

 

its always nice to get a laugh outa this, this is my favorite tho, when someone says this or that about ones bike and the comments turn them into defense mode, 'well my bike this and that' then you hear the famous 'well my friends bike this and that' lol, cracks me up.

Boat you should post some pics so we can see your yfz and 450r, sound like nice bikes.

Boat. One piece of advise. Do not run your jaws about what you think you have because I can tell you from years of experiance is that you are not the fastest, there will always be someone faster. If the hp is correct then yes it is a good number. BUT the hp is not the only thing that makes a quad fast, TOURQE is another, and you can argue this until your blue in the face, but your 450 will never make the tourqe that a ds makes, and this tourqe is what helps get you up a hill. I don't have a super powerfull quad, but I have built many high performance engines for cars and the bigger it is the power it will make. You don't see a top fuel dragster with a small block in it? I think it is real cool that alot of people have quads that make 60+ to 100+ hp power, but for me I think it's a little crazy since I am a average rider and what I have is enough for me. Good luck with your bashing and I am sure you will get your words handed to ya. By the way I am not looking for an arguement or a fight or a race, just stating that you should'nt look for trouble because you will find it.
