Ive seen stock hp numbers from high 30's to mid 40's. Stock ds weight for the baja x model is 490 and the others are around 475 i think.

If your talking about dry weight, its 460 on the viper. Horsepower as low as 38 hp and as hight as 46 on a crate stock bike.

But I think we all know what your underlying motive is behind this thread............you need to go float your boat somewhere else if you looking for another arguement

Wow, you really cracked the case wide open Kojak. Did the secret DS info get leaked from the Pentagon... you know they are having that problem lately. I guess we should all sell our DS's because your list says that they have less stock power to weight than the others on your list. Leave your agenda at the door and keep following the crowd you may get lost without them.

stock BRP DS...........650......470......38hp...........12.3 6
so of course you take the lowest hp number for stock....I dont drag race up hills and havent even been in huge sand dunes to do this....but i do no what i race up here yfz, 450r, piped, ported, and carbed banshee. Me and some friends went out riding for a couple days i got the chance to race a stock yfz450 against my stock ds650 baja x both riders were around the same weight both had stock tires etc....he got me off the line till i got into 3rd then i pulled by him and left him the farther we got down the road. The 450r we seen that day both me the yfz and my friends 400ex raced him of course the 400ex lost but me and the yfz did take out the 450r me and the yfz won. The banshee with those simple mods blew us all away once he stopped spinning....all of these races are roads(highways).

How many people race stock bikes? $$$$ and time are the only consistant factors in winning races.
