esr temperature gauge
#1
Is anyone running the esr inline temperature gauge? and what would be a normal operating temperature? If it works 60 bones is not that bad. I also run that engine ice so what would that temp be also.

mechanical thermostat opens at 185, fan comes on at 205, anything in between these numbers is normal operating range. this is stated in shop manual and also confirmed by my ESR gauge. I love the gauge.

Works great but on a DS is hard to see when you're sitting on the Pig.
So, I took mine off and put a gauge in my dash.
My Pig usually ran at about 180 unless I started making several runs up the hill.
Rarely did it get over 200. Usually that would be when I would be just sitting around idiling and waiting for someone to race.
