Default Six pack rack....

If you buy the AC or PRM... they bolt RIGHT on... no mods needed.

I think the AC is a bit more rugged over the PRM....

However, I have a PRM... and DID modify mine to sit almost 3" closer to the plastics.
In picture 4 of my pics on my profile... you can see just how close it is to the body. There's a strap that takes away from the pics a bit... however you get the idea.

Don't buy the universal unless you plan on making some modifications.

God help you if you crash and your DS comes after you!

You might as well be towing a trailer!

The last time my friend had a rear 'cooler' rack (on a Raptor) it was a PRM (and remember... I have one too)... and he had quite a bit of extra weight on it. 20lbs to be exact. That extra weight... and the bouncing up and down in Baja, broke his rack and tore the steel in his rear frame!

I'm sure that thing you call a 'rack' is bolted in more than just the stock 4 holes... if not, you should look into more strength somehow. I would.

When I cut and rewelded my PRM cooler rack, I used 3/8" thick aluminum instead of that whimpy stuff they use. I think it's more like 3/16". But not all of us have TIG/MIG/Plasma access in their garage or nearby.

But damn... that's one HUGE rack!
