Default DS 650 proper oil change

Ive heard horror stories about people changing the oil on their DS650 and not bleeding the oil.
What exactly is the proper way to change the oil on this thing , im going to change the oil before long and dont have the maintenance manual or anything.

Yes it sucks, lets get past that part, it does.

You have to drain the bottom of the engine case. Then you have to do the deed, the oil tank up front. The oil will come out of that hole so fast that there is no way to funnel it. Some people have put a GOOD valve and nipple in place of that tank plug. Next to that plug is an oil feed line that you need to take off and pull that fitting/nipple off and inside there is a screen you can clean out. Then on the foot brake side of your engine is a oil filter under a cap with 2 allen head bolts. Remove that....more oil mess....replace that filter every time. I reccomend if you plan on keeping your DS, to get a stainless steel filter I got mine from scotts. They are very expensive but they are reuseable. Refill with 3 qts of oil.

Before i put the fram sure drain in i used 2-2liter bottles together to drain the tank
with no mess.

My first oil change was comical.I had this little funnel i thought would work.It might have
but the tank plug fell into the funnel and plugged it.Big mess everywhere.

Use paper towels under the filter to save on the mess when you take the cover off.
