Default Stock bore stage 2 VS hpr 730 dyno

You must be running about a 12.5:1 piston or maybe 13:1. Much more than that at 37 degrees advance would preignite on 110 wouldn't it?...... unless your cams and porting are set up to take care of it........Hmmm, that is interesting.

Sounds like an impressive motor

Relative to 34 hp stock, it is a 22 hp increase. Not bad.

I should sure as hell hope so! My 730 made 70 at HPR's dyno which Randall and I both thought was a little low but I found out when I got home that the axle bearings were so shot that they locked up after one tank of fuel on the fresh 730, we both concluded this was holding at least a few horses back on the dyno so after being broken in and with fresh axle bearings she's prpbably in the mid 70's.

Good times...

when we biult that motor, their was no 13,14,15:1 super lightweight pistons, nor were their custom cam grinds availiable, or Custome timing curves CDI's. and if ther was , I dang sure couldn't afford it,LOL.

The motor runs great for what it is, It still has factory valves and valve springs. the origional timing chain, a OLD heavy style RWR 11:5:1 piston, and RWR A1/A2 cams. The head was decked to gain Compression, and the timing was advanced to gain all we could running Alky. But it is a great combination as a whole.

Mario will take this ported Stage 2 to another level, with all of the new cool stuff available today, like TI valves, custom cams and a lightwieght pistons. Maybe a better CDI, instead of the old RWR cdi. Light wieght flywheels, and light weight clutch baskets, and all of this in a true light wieght chassis.

Yep, Good times to be had indeed....

Way to go guys, Bigger.

Hold up there slickariphic. While you might have run 70 hp, you also have their race head which has the big valves. that alone is worth another 10 - 12 ponies (check their site). You probably ran street tires which can easily be 4-6 more ponies. Let's just say that you take the mean of those two number..... that's 16 ponies. Oh' let's not for get the bump up for the cams on the top end... let's add another 3 ponies(check their site).

Let's see..... 56.5 plus 16........ plus 3.......wait, I'm almost there.... almost.....

Got it!

97 hp!

Wait..... sorry,

75.5hp....

so slow down there hot stick!

I'm sure that what you meant to say was, "that sure *** hell was dang good" for a stock head.
