Default So what increases Torque
Torque is what gets up the sand hills right??? not just Horse Power? SO what make MORE torque on the DS?

turbo for long hill climbs - torque is multiplied.

Torque is increased by compression, larger cc motor or air boosting(turbo or supercharging).

And a 15t front sprocket backed up by some 22" Sand Stars don't hurt too bad either. Is that kinda what you were asking???

Wouldn't certain cams be responsible as to how much and where the torque comes in?

Once your motor reaches 100% V.E. the torque per engine size is maxed out.
650=55lbs 730=61lbs 800=67lbs

The cam just moves the torque to the rpm range you are want to ride in.
If you overcam, you will sacrifice torque for more hp.
