Default Is the Bombardier Forum SLow????

I am having trouble in general with ATV Connection seizing up, becoming unavailible or timing out. I have a high speed internet connection and when this is happening I can get right in to any other website so it can't be my system or connection.

Is anyone else having trouble with the forum running slow?

If I am the only one I will re-examine my position on my own system and connection.

I don't think its the site and my guess its a line problem to the server.

Reminds me of the days when we thought a 14400 modem was quick.

SO what you are suggesting is that it might not be the site or my system? I hope the server figures it out. I have no problems getting into any other website. All the ones I have tried act normally. Only my connection with ATV Connection seems to be effected.

To give you an idea, it used to take about 5 seconds for a page to come up. Now it is taking 30 at the quickest. Sometimes it times out and says page cannot be displayed and won't let me back in for 5 or 10 min..

Weird.

I have been noticing it getting worse for about a week.

Thanks for your insight.

The email server and this site is running very slow for myself. I am going to bet its the T1 line that goes into the server. If it was just this site only then I would say its an internal problem but with both going slow I think its line coming in. Its not your computer.

Slow-Slow-Slow, kind of takes the fun out of coming to the forum when you have to wait 10 seconds to get to the next thread. Boy have I got spoiled with this DSL, no way I could go back to a phone modem.

The entire forum is slow, not just Bombardier.

This past weekend it wasn't too bad, and I hoped that the slightly quicker speed would be normal. Unfortunately it must have been due to the lack of traffic. I have also noticed that later at night (after about 10pm or so) it is quicker.

Seems as though it's back up to NORMAL now. No problems on this end.
