OT paint is getting pricey
Just got a price on 2 quarts of paint for a guy that wants his bike painted orange, similar to my candy orange bike, called the jobber told them what I wanted they gave me the price. The base coat was $188 list my cost $150 for a quart, the top coat listed at $225, my cost $180 I about crapped. My House of Kolors Kandy was about $50 for a quart. $350 for 2 quarts of color is ridiculous add in the cost of primers, sealers, reducers, clear coat, hardner for the clear, masking tape and paper, buffing compound and pads its easy to see over $600 in materials alone add in 10-15 hours of labor you got some serious cash being spent on the cosmetics of a toy. I don't think I can afford to paint my own stuff anymore
