Default laker custom plastic

have seen lots of threads on here about custom plastic for the ds650. ii live in mesa, az. laker custom is in gilbert 10 miles away. i just want to say anybody interested get it!!! they have great customer service and what a great priced product as well !!! i am stoked!! they told me they would have it done in two weeks and the had it ready early, the price they quoted me was 390.00. that is for the front facia, the front plastic fenders, and the rear plastic. what a unique design, and every thing fit tight and perfect. when i picked up plastic they only charged me 350.00. the only peice they dont fab is the tank cover i purchased it at the dealer for 40.00. make sure you order the jack nuts, the tank cover does not come with. all new plastic for less than 400.00. i went with the silver, looks good with all the black carbon fiber parts i have. as soon as wife gets home i will upload pics.

Wow I didn't realize they sold straight to the public. I thought they were wholesale only. I work about 3 buildings away from those guys, and have never stopped in to talk. Have ordered Laker plastic (nice stuff) for other bikes at local shops. Didn't realize that they would sell direct. Thanks for the info.

Does anyone know if these plastics can be painted a lot easier then are stock ones? Or are they made out of the same kind of plastic? I really am looking to go with a candy apple red plastics, but would like the new look of the laker's.

I am not sure what makes one plastic easier to paint than another however I can tell you that the Laker plastic does not have nearly as much flex as the stockers which is probably a good thing if you want to paint.
