Man I am tired of not getting the holeshot. I am the only DS out there and fugured I would have an edge. I do over the stockers, but some of the others have modded their machines and I cannot keep up with them.
I am a stock machine with 22 Razr'2s.
What can I do to help? I mean, without engine mods. I am WOT so it's not as if I am not trying. If I change sprockets will that help?

I don't drag race. Although, that is what it feels like to the first turn. We have a 96 dB level so piping is out of the question.
I think the only thing to do is gearing. When I am in the woods, I am mostly in 1st gear. When I need second gear I use it but have to drop back down to first again. Then I am running between 6-7000 rpm's.
So a 15 front and 42 rear? I will try it.

with 22" tires you definitely want a 14T front, and I even run 14/41 believe it or not. this will keep you in 2nd gear more often in the woods with less shifting back to 1st.
for hole shots playing with your buddies in the dirt, 1st gear breaks the tires loose really quick unless air pressure is real low so you gotta go to 2nd really quick, the looseness of terrain makes the difference between me starting in 2nd gear wide open or 1st gear, it just depends where I am at. try them both to see which works best.
I always had better hole shots with 20" ohtsus at low pressure 3-4psi starting in 2nd gear with 14T gearing than I do with my 22" knarlys - ohtsus are so soft they get killer traction and they are so light they rev out quick. but 22" belong on the bike for trails, so you take the tradeoff.
also razors are not the best holeshot or traction tire, I have a couple buddys who switched from them for this reason, they are good tires and power slide and carve up burms really great and have their place, not ******* them but not the best tire for drags.

DUNE RIDER,
i have 20 inch rzor2's.. i didnt like the way the 22's make the bike sit and feel plus i didnt want to mess with sprockets..then some people went to a larger front-- some stayed the same...it got to be to much thinking for me...the 20 sits taller than your stock 20 anyway cause of the ply rating and thick chunky nobbies...
a few members have them i will look and post it for you
