carb question again

So i rejetted to the specs the directions it gave me but i have a slight hesitation/sputter when i hit the throttle hard. but if put my choke on there is nothing, smooth power even when i hit it hard. what could be causing this?

Study oldmanracings stock carb mods also. After applying them and getting her fine tuned you will be amazed at the gains made for such low cost. Can't go wrong with them at all.
As dunerider stated, you are in need of some immediate adjustments.

Try raising your needle until you find the sweet spot. If you are already at the highest clip go up a jet size and play with the needle some more. Also check out Oldmanracing's stock carb mods... do a search for "stock carb mod.s" If it still bogs maybe look into a larger poilet jet. Good luck.

K if your clip is second from the top i think you need to richen it out since when you put choke on it runs fine...so move the clip on the needle to the second or third from the bottom so its richer.

DS650powe,
You are running lean.
Move the "e" down on the needle. Test after each adjustment.
Also make sure to take plug readings. You do not want a lean condition.
Once you get it your quad going, make sure to take plug readings for the circuits marked with *.
White plug = Lean
Black plug = Rich
Tan to Brown = Right on
Here are your carb circuits and what they operate.
Carburetor Circuits
*Air Screw = Idle to 1/8 Throttle
*The Pilot (Slow Jet) = 1/8 to 1/4 Throttle
The slide valve = 1/8 to 1/2 Throttle (Rarely ever replaced)
*Jet needle = 1/4 to 3/4 Throttle
*Main Jet = 3/4 to Full Throttle
Hope this helps.

so set my clip on the needle down a notch then check plugs? then if its still white set her down another notch and check? alright guys i really appreciate the help(im a newbie when it comes to tuning quads)

yup... move your c clip closer to the sharp and of the needle. Short needle=rich, long needle=lean. If you are still lean when you move the clip all the way down you will need to move up another jet size.
