so when its cold outside it automatically runs leaner? so when the temp gets around 70 or so it should run perfect? because right now its about 10-20

Default carb question again

If you are useing the dj kit at that temp id be atleast a 185.

These guys have alot more experiance then me try the needle first.
Mine runs best in the middle groove.

But just make sure your not running lean on top.

One thing these guys have taught me is dont be afraid to change
your jets,to get it running right rather than OK.

Default carb question again

Your still to far out even if it does get warmer you still will not be rich enough....i go from it being -20 to plus 30 C and my jetting is still perfect no sputters...altho it isnt spot on it still doesnt sputter so you still have to change the needle to the 3 third or so clip from the bottom to make it run right. Its easy takes about 5 min to do.

I quickly learned that too from the folks around here. When I put my pipe on I took my bike to the shop to have them jet it. I had it jetted in the winter when it was cold then when it got warm my jetting was off. A couple mods and I had to rejet. I printed out a bunch of posts and went to do it myself. When I realized how easy it was I was pissed that I had spent $100 to have the shop do it. After that, I have rejetted a couple time no issues, and have played with my needle whenever the weather changes. You will know when it is right. It only took a couple short runs to really feel each jetting/needle change.
