Buy a DS 650 or Raptor 700?
After reading several threads on the DS 650 having problems, particularly the bike being "dead", unable to start or continue running, in which no one seems to have a fix or solid explanation, i am wondering if people with the Raptor 700 are experiencing any problems. I am still considering one of the two bikes, but trying to find out which would be more dependable. My uncle has an 04 or 05 DS 650 and has had no problems with his that i am aware. I have ridden it and am pleased with the performance of it, though i have not ridden a Raptor. Any feedback is appreciated.

That FI Rappy is nice, and the rappy is easier to throw around/turn. It's all about good ergonomics IMO, and you can make anything fast, Just add a little nos. It's all on what type of riding you do. I personally am much more comfortable racing through the woods on my wifes kfx 400 and I can run faster and more confident. But on fire roads at wide open places I'd much rather be on the DS.

It will just all depend on what kind of riding that you do will be doing on this particular atv. I kinda like my DS. I guess you kinda get spoiled by the plush ride, bullet proof motor & massive power. Now the downfall will be the weight of this beast, no reverse (if you need one).
On the other hand, the new 700 engine on the Raptor has yet to be tried. Im sure there are some kinks that will need to be addressed for its first year open to the public. So pick your poison,
