I'm ordering the Stage II Kit on 11/09/00 . I will install it and have it dyno'd to get set up right and report the HP gains. Ive yet to see a dyno run on one? The place Im having it done at says they dyno'd a stock DS at 38 HP, Rearwheel HP. Later dudes!! Ill keep you posted.

 

amtCHAD, don't worry at all about that pipe. I have had mine for all most a year now, and have had no problems at all with it. It does stick passed the grab bar a little, but I am talking to PRM products to see if they can make one that will be longer than stock. Right now I have a pipe,rev box,K&N filter, and new jetting. I am Debating on if I shout get the Carb or not.. Or if it is worth the money..

i'm not here to start a fight. But i cannot belive that you can beat a Ds650 with a stage I kit or stage II or III. I Find that very hard to belive. i beleive that you did beat them, but I also think that something wasnt right. Either they had bad jetting, or didnt know how to ride. Like i said, i'm sure you did beat them, but i dont belive for a second that a quad with just K&N and pipe can beat a ds with Pipe/silncer, carb, cam, piston......ext.

The new rev box is made in England and is being marketed by Graydon Proline.It has an optional adjustable rev limit that increases in 250 rpm increments otherwise it revs to approximately 9000 before the limiter kicks in.It does not change the timing curve.Graydon is working at getting the retail price down and should be available in 2 weeks.They are also making a carb kit with a 42 mikuni and accelerator pump it will be a complete kit and include everything to install on youre DS.I am purchasing the first kits available and will inform everyone how it works out.

I have a friend that I work with who ports heads on car engines. He really knows what he's doing. He did an awesome job. I dont have a Ron Woods pipe I have a Graydone Proline pipe. I get my parts on friday and I will get it back together and have it dyno'd hopefully next week. I'll keep you posted.
