I was at (RWR) Woods today and got to chat with Mr Woods and Elliot they claim with there Intake a 2 to 3 HP increase min, said if tunned right they seen up to 4 HP (You should see the size of this K&N Vortex Air Cleaner) I don't know what extras were done to there quad for testing so I was not able to get too deep on the testing they done I was fighting the clock on traffic today to get 13 mm Shims for the 720, Elliot said "if I dont like it bring it back" so I bought one to try with the 720 motor being build.
Pro shop (building my 720 and they are local and great on sharing information on the DS also) swears on these!!! on the yammy 450s, and they done a few about 4 DS's with a TM45 they said they had to go up 10 sizes on the jetting to dial in.
So more air means more Flow and GO!
I'm with the BOM im always skeptical on products that are "AWSOME HP IMPROVEMENTS" that are bolt on but RWR is a good name, they know there Rotrax motors.
I'll going to give it run to see what happens when the DS is dynoed so Ill see if it makes any difference.
Still got Bietched at for not buying RWR pipe and cams LOL! Elliot and Ron are some of the nicest folks to work with that I have met in this ATV indusrty.
Hoping to meet more !

We need to get Jeff to explain, what I got from our phone call was the direct mount increases HP in the upper revs while the increase with the snorkle bracket set up increases HP and Torque on a Broader curv, said there was with a snorkle setup a 3 HP gain over the RWR set up On the direct mount was when the phone call started breaking up. but I heard over 3 hp gain, he mentioned 7 hp but I was not able to here what other setup was done , I hope Jeff can chime in on this.

Look forward to your results.
In talking to Jeff the direct mount is down about 3 hp below 6,000 and then comes out on top with about 2hp more overall, and the 7 hp was in the over rev.
My build has a strong mid range (when jetted right, had some bad jets down at Dumont that I got off E-Bay and after trying to get my DS jetting found out when I got home that the guy had reamed the jets out so there was no real way to tell what they were, the 157.5 I was trying to use was a bit bigger than a 170 by my wire gauge).
I'm hoping to move a bit of that midrange up to balance it out and end up with a smoother curve over all.
I did end up cutting my seat base to clear the carb mount. Otherwise its just 4 bolts, 2 clamps, and I'm back to my late model snorkle.
Anyway, like you, its something to try.
