Default 25" Extremes??

Where can I get 25" Extreme Haulers? Looking for 8, 9 or 10 paddle. Do they always come on 9" rims? Can you get them on 8" rims? My DS has Yamaha bolt pattern so 8's are no problem.

Curious why big ol 25's as opposed to the more commonly used 22's. Unless you making big HP#'s I would imagine the 25's are only going to slow you down (rotating mass). The 25's will also cost more and you will have to gear way way down. JMO

Default 25" Extremes??

Oh, I am running a big bore with full race head and high compression. I am running as high gears as you can fit on my bike and I still spin too much. I am looking to gear up a bit more and pick up a little traction to without adding more paddles. I am running a +6 swingarm so I have the room for them.

Engineer - Couple of thoughts here.

First off, the 25's in an Extreme, triple-buff version are actually 1.7 pounds lighter than the Extreme Haulers (Regular) 22's. How do I know that, I've got both in my garage as we speak.. thanks Baja!

2nd, the idea of the 25's is that they float on the sand better and have to claw their way out of less sand in front of them. Imagine a boat plowing through water. The higher the boat sits out of the water, the less it has to push against to go faster.

I've seen it work on bikes, but you're right. You'll need a lot of power and the right gearing in order for it to work. Still don't know exactly where my gearing will end up, but I'm sure that the 25's work well.

My buddy has two Vforces. Both built for speed. One running 75hp and they other running 100hp. Both bikes also have big shots of juice going through as well. Both bikes use 25's and both are extremely fast out of the hole and on top. Bombers Bike runs 25's as well, and he's the fastest production quad in the nation right now.

It does work and there are VERY good reasons for going BIG. Just make sure you are running enough power.

We ran 25" extreme haulers on a 440cc Polaris Explorer and then put them on a 700 Prairie, they work a lot better than the smaller paddles at Glamis. I ran the 23" extreme haulers on my 416 Polaris on Alcohol and blew 3 paddles off each tire in the first run. No warranty!

They race all kinds of quads at Sand Drags, they use Kevlar reinforced paddle tires.

Paddle Masters are to heavy, but you can run them on the road, dirt, gravel, and they are cheap. The 25" worked great on the 650 Prairie at Glamis.

I run the 25s and love them. They are very light and hook better out of the hole. With a +6 they should work well. Jims Sand Toys has them at 580-824-2021
