Hey FatHolly,

I hear you on the towing issue.
I don't know how or when but My DS turned into the rescue vehicle !
I have to tow people out of the dunes quite often... I guess maybe more torque and less flair really does get the job done after all ...
Kind of the reason why chevy and fords are the primary truck for towning trailers .... hummm

I have a Predator and really like it but when anybody asked I tell them about my husbands DS it was mine first but he likes to wreck my bikes so I gave it to him I regret it all the time because It is the Cadillac of 4Wheelers it is the most comfortable and easiest riding machine I have ever been on and before I got one I tested out all the others and they may look good but looks are not everything so if you get a chance to try one out try it you will be sold. I hope this helps.

I thought that 'different looking' was the whole point. Afterall, the last thing I want is be accused of having a quad that looks like everyone elses. Works for girlfriends, and quads.

I will agree with you though, the stock DS is a little humble looking. But damn, you should have seen mine when it was all dolled up! The Yami and Zuki guys would shrink when I rode up to them. Come get you sum!

I even took the rear fenders off and put a alum tank on just to scare the others to death and let them know that the UGLY DS will be the bar to reach for today and in the future!!!!! DS IS KING LOL

IMHO people who ride the DS have no intensions of being part of the main stream. We're not trying to "look" like all the other clones.
