They're all good options. THe question is how much do you want to spend to go how much faster?

IMHO rwr stuff is outdated... Sure you could run a stage III (dont even know what that runs these days) but I think you would be MUCH happier with the 730 kit, a lectron 48 (or EFI) and doing some other small stuff to the engine.

The nice thing about the turbo is that as far as I know it does run on pump gas, you can run it on an all stock engine and still be putting down 70-75 hp. EFI comes with the turbo so if tuning is something you dislike that would be an added benefit (but then again if you like tuning their are endless possibilties to playing with the fuel maps)

If it was my money and I spent most of my time in desert/trails/dunes I would put the turbo on. Second choice would be a 730 build up.

the tubos are cool... some people i have talked to said if you have a turbo you should have a spare bike.. I have a Ron Woods stage 1 with port/polish,big valves, cams & piston... runs on pump gas( i use 50/50 pump & vp for the cooling) and i'm at 61.20 hp on the dyno. the motor work was $1700. stage 1 about $1400 total: $3100 almost $2000 less than the turbo. super reliable.. does the trail rides @ 10mph with the kids.

Turbo definately requires race gas.

IMHO you might be better served to upgrade your suspension first. What good is horsepower if you can't put it to the ground?

Also if money is no object, why not go for an 800 turbo machine?

first i know its stock suspension...but still the plushest ride of all the models...so not worried about the suspension part....second the money is no object is getting lost on the functionality of the machine...its suposed to bea all around dune machine with the abilty to open a can at the same time....not just a quad killer.....so far only one has really praised the ron woods...is imho the mr hp or that a differnt company?

I've got absolutely no complaints with my stock bore Woods bike. Well over 60 hp, no problems with it.
