all this talk about exhaust makes my stupid, simple head want to explode!!!!!!!!!!! All i have is factory sh*t, and want to upgrade but i cant make up my mind, and according to most of the posts, nobody else knows either. Now i dont know what to do, but im not about to go spend $1500 american on the dual LTE settup. So what do i buy. The db factor doesnt really apply to me, the price somewhat does, but i dont have a problem shelling out the bucks if i can get a few guys to agree on a similar exhaust, or endcap, or pipe, or whatever. Hit me up, i really need the help, and man did i have my heart set on a dual exhaust system for my bike until i seen the price.

 

Well, if you have a custom shop around, you could have them make you a custom dual exhaust and put a couple of slipons onto it, I'm looking about switching my Trinity Racing Pipe for a Ron Woods, they seem to be the best.

Love my HMF. Great performace, looks good, sounds good... price is real nice. I just ran across my recipt from a couple years ago. $230 shipped. I'd do it again.

 

those 2 systems are probably money well spent, seem to be good systems.

don't get dragged into all the other aftermarket crap, it's just noise.

 

The LTE set I put on my '00 DS was only about $650. I paid a guy $50 to help me install it since he had some tools I didn't have.

Why do you have to pay $1500?

 

Well if it cost $1500 for any exhaust system, you got took, plain and simple.
Even some dual drag pipes can be thrown together for less than $200.00

 

Is some of this stuff really going for $1500 bucks, after we get the new shop up and finished, may have to build a few exhaust systems to put on the market if their getting that much for 'um.

 

I have a pair of the end caps, hard to beat for the price and ease of install. I like the HMF for the price, they perform well. The HPR Ugly stick sounds good as well. I know a lot of people like the RWR pipe, but I could never buy a product that has clearance issues even after it was redesigned. I've never bottomed out the rear of my DS, but I still wont ever consider the RWR pipe. (For those that don't know, the excessive size of this pipe makes it hit the brake caliper when you bottom out or come close to bottoming out the rear suspension.)

For $1500, I've got hard to find ocean front property in Arizona that you'll LOVE!

Maybe you were exagerating on the $1500, but that is too funny.

 

i used to run a full rwr pipe but then the endcap blew off so i went and bought a yoshimura pipe and love it i got it at a good price (300$) u can get one for abot 350 the hmf also sounds good and its cheap
