Default question about the tow hitch

I want to ask a question and see what kind of response I get... I have a 06 outlander 400 Max and it has the tow hitch on the back. Has anyone ever used this to pull a boat out of the garage or driveway? I have a 19 ft jet boat that weighta about 1800 Lbs and I need to pull it out of the garage for about 25 yards so I can get my truck in to hitch it up. Does anyone do this type of thing with there quad? I know it's over the towing limit but do you think it may damage the quad? Any input would be great.

Thanks

Marty

Default question about the tow hitch

If you stay on flat ground you'll probally be good. Just don't try to climb a slight hill she will bog BIG TIME! First thing I would do is set the tounge down on the hitch and look at the suspension. If compressed all the way it's a no-go.
Good Luck
