My quad sat for a while, but now it cranks really slow, and even slower with the choke on. I get an occasional strong smell of rotten eggs when it does this. IT dont do it every time. When it smells like this it will let an enormus backfire. When it is trying to start and I let off the button I hear a gurgle sound?? It runs great when it starts. have to start it with a jumper, and then it runs and starts fine most of the time during that day. Turning the headlights on dont affect it when it is running. Please help.

You deffinetly need a new battery. Check out the PC545 Odessey.

 

I gotta admit thats 1 tuff cranking battery, No troubles what so ever just make sure you get a battery tender on it if it sit longer than 2 months.

Check out Ebay for the PC545. There is a place in Florida that has the best prices and fast shipping... I cann't remember the name... just search PC545.
