what is the replacement battery of choice? i've heard of the 450 yzf battery and the weight is good but do they hold up, my stock battery is 11 pounds. wow[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-blush.gif[/img]

 

sandman can not talk about the yfz battery. i have a odyssey pc545 gell battery and i believe it weighs in about 12lbs. i am really impressed with the battery. you can find on ebay just tpye in pc545 in the search. just my 2 cents.

the pc545 is the battery of choice for durability and long life, saving a few lbs. on the battery will not help you if it does not perform.

 

The yfz battery is small and will do the trick...and it is light. Although I did not opt to run this battery simply to play it on the safe side while running NOS. You should be ok. I know some of the top fuel DS dragsters who are running them, [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-tongue.gif[/img]

 

any non racers run the yzf battery? and what kind of luck have you had, i have been checking other sources and i guess they need to be on a battery tender all the time or they will fade quick. thanks for any help
