Is the DS too wide

Just wanted to know if any of you DS owners have had any poblems with it being to wide for woods riding.

The DS fits OK on 80% of the trails I ride.The soluton to this is a chainsaw.

You would get use to the exta width of the ds in no time at all. Sure the Ds might have trouble getting through the REALLY TIGHT woods, but if is that tight then you probably shouldnt be riding on the trail, and you probably shouldnt have the ds to trail race. Most of the harescrambles i'v seen are wide enough for the ds. it come's down to how well you know where the tires are when you aproch the tree's and how much ball's you have to go through them fast. Besides if you ride the ds right, the extra power will make up for the width, and the supension will also make up for the weight. It's a good trail machine...if the trail isnt to tight.

There is nothing wrong with a wide quad. Its so much more stable that way,When I hop on my friend narrow raptor(8 inch differnce)then hop on mine, man I am glad mine's wide. i can take turns so much more better that his,mine my be a little heaver to jump, but once you get used to it, it's fine.
